Mal Warwick has been raising money professionally since 1979 and has gained worldwide recognition as an author, consultant, and trainer. He has written or edited eighteen books, including the standard texts How to Write Successful Fundraising Letters and Revolution in the Mailbox. Mal is Founder and Chairman of Mal Warwick Associates (Berkeley, Calif.), which specializes in direct mail, and has founded or co-founded three other companies that furnish data processing, telephone fundraising, and online fundraising and marketing services to nonprofits. He has been a popular speaker at AFP conferences throughout North America for nearly 20 years. Mal is Chair-Elect of the Resource Alliance (London, UK), which has organized the International Fundraising Congress for more than 25 years.
